I finally reached my ultimate planner goal today & I bought the Louis Vuitton Medium Ring Agenda today! I have wanted this planner for such a long time & I am so happy that I finally bought it! I’ve been researching pricing and sizes the past few months. I initially wanted to buy this for my birthday or graduation present to myself in December and I wanted to pay a few credit cards down first because my priority is reducing my debt. But it was definitely worth the wait!
I uploaded a video on YouTube (below) with some of the information in this blog post but wanted to go over a few more details and share what I bought in this blog post.
Size Selection
The LV Agenda is available in a small, medium, or large ring. The small (PM) ring agenda fits pocket size inserts, the medium (MM) fits personal sized inserts, and the large (GM) fits A5 inserts. I initially wanted to buy the large/GM BUT the medium/MM has six credit card slots and two compartments. I will be using this agenda as a planner/wallet and I REALLY wanted the multiple credit card slots. I wasn’t really interested in the small one, it only has 3 card slots and the pocket size inserts are just too small for me. So I only really considered the medium or the large and it was mainly the large, but I also thought the large had the card slots as well. So I went into the store today & asked for the medium and when I saw it, I knew it was perfect & instantly bought it. I loved the size and functionality. It’s small enough to take everywhere and large enough to fit everything that I need to fit and the inserts won’t be too small.
Pattern
There is the Monogram, Damier Ebene, Epi Leather, Damier Graphite Canvas, and Taiga Leather. I chose the classic monogram to watch my bag and accessories. I also just love the look and aesthetic of the monogram material.
New vs Used
So, I chose to buy my LV Agenda new after much deliberation. So I’ve looked at almost every GM and MM agenda on The Real Real, Tradesey, Poshmark, Mercari and Ebay. I was going to buy a used (or pre-loved) MM on The Real Real when I noticed that there wasn’t a huge price difference. The MM retails for $605. These agendas are all definitely investments and you should be comfortable with what you choose because even the used agendas are barely $100 or so less. I chose to buy new because I personally felt like the price difference (for what I was buying) wasn’t worth it. The one I found would’ve been around $575 with shipping and taxes and I paid around $650 with taxes. If you’re deciding whether to buy it new or used, then I would recommend doing what feels right to you and your budget. I couldn’t bring myself to buy it used KNOWING that I could get a brand new one for just a little bit more. If the one I found would’ve been under $400 then I probably would’ve bought it used, but I just felt like the prices we’re too close so I might as we’ll buy it new.
What I bought & Set Up
I am BEYOND excited to set up this planner! I purchased my inserts and accessories yesterday from Cloth & Paper and have an idea of how I want to set up my planner, but nothing concrete just yet. I will have a full blog post and video when everything comes in and when I set up my agenda. So far here is everything that I bought, will buy or ordered so far:
Michael’s
I grabbed a few items from Michael’s like a gold paper punch that matches my office so I can put anything in my planner. Neutral midliners and pens to keep in the gold pouch from Recollections to use specifically for this planner. I also picked up a Washi card to keep my Simply Gilded Washi in my planner for on the go planning!

Hobby Lobby
I LOVE Agenda 52 & grabbing the simple pages for my planner from them because they’re very minimalistic which is what I’m going for in this planner!

Cloth & Paper
All of the inserts and most of the accessories will be from Cloth & Paper. I’ve absolutely LOVED the way @moneycanbuylipstick and @thiswellplannelife use C&P products in their LV agendas & drawing a lot of inspiration from them for my set up!
