First Day

Today was my official first day of my second seamster in grad school! I take all of my courses online so my first day is normally a prep day & knocking out basics things including:

  • I take all of my Syllabus’s & enter EVERY due date, assignment, exam, project, & research paper information for each week. This helps me stay organized throughout the year & helps me visualize the workload for each week.
  • I highlight every important date: projects, exams, & paper’s on the monthly view of my Academic Planner & with a sticker inside the weekly view.
  • I print EVERY syllabus & important hand out. I personally need a physical copy of everything (major reason why I’m a #PlannerAddict as well) even though everything is online. I like/need to write on everything & just physically have the hard copy to flip through.
  • I section off my textbooks by chapter and then I also section off the glossary & index to make life easier throughout the school year. If a syllabus outlines important sections of chapters then I write them on a sticky note. This year I used the Tabbed Sticky Notes from Erin Condren & it’s a 2-in-1!
  • I use Customizable Event Stickers for course labels & use them EVERYWHERE.
