This week was my first week in my new position! I went from working at home to working at our Central Business Office (corporate office) & it hasn’t been an easy adjustment sleep-wise, but its been perfect in every other aspect. I love my new role and everything that I get to do.

I didn’t bring anything to work on my first day except for my Coiled Vertical LifePlanner, Productivity Notebook and Charcoal Daily LifePlanner Binder in my Black Leather Planner Tote Bag. Mainly because I wanted to see what my desk looked like and what I would need.

For my desk I decided to stick with a Charcoal and Gold theme. Mainly because I already had most gold items from Erin Condren but also because I wanted something that still looked professional.

So after my first day, I grabbed my Erin Condren Charcoal Pen & Clip Holder, Stapler, Tape Dispenser, Gold Metal Ruler, Charcoal Round Metallic Push Pin Set, Gold Memo Board, my Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens, and Desktop Storage Drawer Set from Target for my home office to bring to work. I ran to Target that night to see what they had and also grabbed the matching Gold Magazine File Holder to the Desktop Storage Drawer Set & some sstorage trays for my drawers.

I stopped by Erin Condren on Friday after work to pick up Gold Page Markers, Hexagon Paper Clips, Stylized Sticky Notes for my work planners, and the Dot Grid Sticker Sheet Duo for functional planning. I also ordered Black G2 Pilot Pens and Clark Kent (not the official title but what I like to call them) Blue Light Glasses from Amazon and a Yeti Rambler Mug to keep my coffee warm while I work from DICK’s Sporting Goods.

I am loving the way everything is coming together on my desk. It’s cute and also professional, but it is also functional. So it’s the perfect mix.
