It’s Preview Day for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! 

To be completely transparent, I think this year’s pieces are very underwhelming. I’ve noticed there’s a lot less brands in the sale & there is a LOT of repeat pieces from last year. However, I am excited for the repeat pieces because I do have a few that I am adding to my wishlist. With that, this year, I will be updating this post with ALL of my guides, my wishlist, and what I’m loving. Everything will also be on my LTK. I will also have a full video on YouTube where I will share my haul!

Sale Details

First things first, if you’re new to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, the Anniversary Sale (or #NSALE) is an especially great time to get jeans, coats, jackets and shoes. As Nordstrom highlights on their website, Tt’s also a great time to refresh wardrobe staples you’ll need throughout the year and stock up on larger sizes of personal care products.

The sale includes Nordstrom exclusives, where brands provide items only available at Nordstrom from the sale and things typically sell out FAST. This year, Nordstrom Card Holder access starts on the 11th of July and then the sale is open to everyone on July 17 – ending August 6th.

Early Access is a special perk reserved for Nordstrom cardmembers. Your “Nordy Club level” is based on yearly spend amount; all cardmembers automatically start at Influencer status. You can only shop Anniversary Sale Early Access as a cardmember.  I am at the Ambassador level so get to begin shopping on July 12!

Preview day starts 7/3 so leading up to when you can shop, you view everything on sale and save the items you love in your size to your wishlist so its easier to shop when its your turn.

My Wishlist

This year, I wanted to get a new coat from Ralph Lauren, potentially a vest, a blow dryer & of course, I always check out the handbags. So far from what I’ve seen:

• I love the Ralph Lauren coat options this year (although most of these were available last year). I am for sure picking up a long black coat and have my eyes on the cream jacket or the wool blend peacoat. I wish they had a cream vest, but I am loving the sage green vest.
• I’m LOVING the Polished Pebble Leather Shoulder Bag – I’m just not sure if I want the cream or black. It looks more structured than last year’s bag that I returned so I’m excited to see the bag in person.
• The T3 Blow Dryer is on sale so I’ll for sure be picking up that. I’m also considering the T3 brush set (it’s time for new brushes).

What I’m Loving

A few things that I have my eye on (but not 100% committed to buying YET):

• Ralph Lauren Wool Blend Peacoat & Ralph Lauren Crest Diamond Quilted Jacket – As I mentioned, I am deciding between these two. I have a Calvin Klein Wool Blend Peacoat that I want to update and love this one on sale. BUT I really love the Birch Tan Quilted Jacket and don’t have this colour coat in my closet yet.
• Ralph Lauren Wool Blend Wrap Coat – I LOVE the New Vicuna colour. I think it’s perfect for fall and I dont have this colour in my wardrobe yet.
• Ralph Lauren Hooded Raincoat – another piece I love and love that this is longer than the rain coats that I do have.
• Ralph Lauren Diamond Quilted Vest in Botanic Green – I just love this and the colour but dont need it.
• The Longchamp Le Pilage Travel Bag – I’ve been considering getting a Longchamp and might use this as an excuse to try it.
• The Beis Carry On Roller – not for me, for my mom. She needs a new suitcase and loves blue. I also think she would just love this colour.

Previous Purchases on Sale (that I recommend)

There are a few pieces that I LOVE and would like to highlight that I have purchased/own and would like to call out:

• Ralph Lauren Belted Trench Coat – I purchased this year and absolutely LOVE it. HIGHLY recommend this piece if you are looking for a timeless trench coat.
• Ralph Lauren Crest Logo Vest – I feel like vests can be hit or miss. I love this vest because you can dress it up or down. This was one of my most worn pieces last fall and winter.
• Drybar Double Shot Blow Dryer Brush – If you are looking for a great blow dryer brush, I have this one and LOVE it. The sale price is also a GREAT price. I have really thick, curly hair and a LOT of it and this works SO WELL.
• T3 SinglePass Ceramic Curling Iron 1.25 Inch & SinglePass StyleMax Flat Iron – There are times when I miss this curling iron and flat iron. If something happened to my DryBar ones, I would go back to these.
• The Beis Weekend Duffle Bag & The Beis Carry On Roller – I can’t recommend Beis enough and these prices are incredible for the brand.
• On Cloudswift Running Shoe – I purchased my first pair of ON’s this year and I absolutely LOVE them. I was a DIE HARD Nike girl since Middle School and so happy I tried these because I LOVE them.
